The comic has a publishing imprint, TV deals, even a primer on leadership she wrote after noting the absence of Black women’s perspectives in business books.

"I needed to put on my big-girl pants and get an office outside the home," says Phoebe. "Because this is my first production company, I really wanted to set the tone, too.”
